Dr. Edward L. Dalcour, M.Apol., Ph.D., Takes an exegetical look at the Prologue of John: Defending the deity of Christ
In the Prologue of John (vv. 1-18), Dr. Dalcour will clearly reveal that Jesus Christ is fully God Almighty who became flesh. He will also show that John 1:1 exegetically refutes the assertions and denials of the deity of Christ made by cultic and false religions, thus making this text a very useful tool in our effort to evangelize them. The Prologue of John is rich with the doctrine of Jesus’ deity and also the doctrine of the Trinity.

Friday evening October 22nd:
7:00 p.m. Dr. Dalcour will begin the conference with John 1:1 and a Q & A will follow.
Saturday afternoon and evening October 23rd:
2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Dr. Dalcour continues exegeting through the prologue of John 1:1-18.
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. break & fellowship
4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Dr. Dalcour will be winding down the prologue of John 1:1-18.
5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Break (plenty of places to eat and rest nearby, & fellowship hall @ FBCN)
6:30 p.m. Pastors/Scholars panel, Join Dr. Edward L. Dalcour, Pastor W.R. Downing, Pastor Ting Wang, and Pastor James Tippins of First Baptist Church of Newark for a lively discussion dealing with the Prologue of John, and the objections to the deity of Christ (and the Trinity) made by unitarian groups such as the Jehovah’s Witnessess, Oneness Pentecostals, Muslims et al. This discussion will be followed by a Q & A. Join us and get equipped to give an answer for the hope!
